| UNM Dorms Phase II Site Masterplan |
Masterplan was for 8 buildings to be situated on an existing 2.85 acre site adjacent to phase I dorms. Existing site consisted of a playing field and tennis courts along with several very large, mature trees that we wanted to conserve & reuse as a part of our courtyard scheme for the dormitory buildings.

| UNM Dorms Phase II Typical Building Floor Plan |
The general configuration of the dorm plans is based around apartment lifestyle living and designed by Greg Hartman. Each floor consists of 4 'apartments' which house 4 students each accessible as 2 units per side.
3-story buildings w/ 685 SF apartment-style dorms with 4 rooms in each unit w/ 4 apartments/floor. 48 rooms per building (+ resident advisor apartment) x 8 buildings = 384 beds + 4 RA suites. I further developed the design site, plans & elevations to present to UNM for apporoval. Unfortunately, budget constraints did not permit this project to proceed forward.

All Type-IV (1-HR) construction.
Estimated construction cost: $9.25M for entire project ($1.15M/bldg. or $140/SF)
I acted as project designer for the schematic design phase (project currently under review/consideration by the UNM).
